Phase 1 of Street Resurfacing Starts on October 3, 2018 
The following streets will be resurfaced beginning on October 3 as Phase 1 of the FY17/18 Pavement Rehabilitation Project:
- Imperial Avenue (portion between Hillcrest Street and Loma Vista Street)
- Loma Vista Street (between Imperial Avenue and Acacia Avenue)
- Acacia Avenue (portion between Hillcrest St. and Loma Vista Street)
- Palm Avenue (intersection with Virginia Street)
- Sheldon Street (between Grand Avenue and El Segundo Boulevard)
- Kansas Street (between Mariposa Avenue and El Segundo Boulevard)
- Pine Avenue (between Kansas Street and Washington Street)
- Holly Avenue (between Kansas Street and Illinois Street)
- Illinois Street (between Franklin Avenue and El Segundo Boulevard)
- Illinois Street (between Mariposa Avenue and Grand Avenue)
- Washington Street (between Mariposa Avenue and Grand Avenue)
The project includes removal and replacement of top two inches roadway surface with new asphalt concrete, manhole and valve cover adjustments, pavement striping restoration and traffic loop restoration. Phase 2 schedule of the project is being finalized which will include several streets east of PCH. An update notice in regards to Phase 2 will be posted soon.
Construction Work Hours:
Normal work hours are 7am to 4pm, Monday to Friday with occasional work on Saturday.
Local access to driveways will be maintained. The contractor will post "No Parking" signs in the work zone, in advance of the work being performed. We request that you refrain from running excess water in the gutters during the construction period.
