The National Weather Service in Sterling Virginia has extended the
* Flood Warning for... Central Berkeley County in the Panhandle of West Virginia...
* Until 1130 PM EDT.
* At 545 PM EDT, stream gauges indicate Back Creek in Berkeley County has crested several inches above flood stage. Minor flooding can be expected near the creek into this evening. Other streams in the area may also be experiencing flooding due to backwater from Back Creek.
* AFFECTED AREAS: BERKELEY, WV
Instructions:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
