The National Weather Service in Sterling Virginia has extended the
* Flood Warning for... Central Berkeley County in the Panhandle of West Virginia...
* Until 630 PM EDT.
* At 121 PM EDT, stream gauges indicate Back Creek is near flood stage in Berkeley County and still slowly rising. Minor flooding can be expected near the creek later this afternoon. Other streams in the area may also still be experiencing flooding due to backwater from Back Creek.
* AFFECTED AREAS: BERKELEY, WV
Instructions:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you can do so safely.
