At 1022 AM EDT, reporting gauges indicated Back Creek in Berkeley County was still rising and could approach flood stage by midday. Elsewhere, the flood threat should generally end by early afternoon as waters recede. River Flood Warnings remain in effect for the Monocacy, Conococheague, Opequon, and portions of the Potomac.

* AFFECTED AREAS: BERKELEY, WV ... WASHINGTON, MD ... FREDERICK, MD

Instructions:

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you can do so safely.
