                Deputy Jesse Hicks of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Marvin Donald Branch II, 27, of 5334 U.S. 70 East in Nebo, with fleeing to elude arrest, driving a vehicle with no registration and operating a vehicle with no insurance.
                At 3:11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22, Hicks was on patrol on Fairview Road, when he spotted a motorcycle with no tag. When he tried to stop the bike, the driver sped up, turning onto Toney Road then Randolph Road then Stacy Hill Road.
                On Stacy Hill, the motorcycle hit a culvert and overturned. That’s when the driver, identified as Branch, was taken into custody.
