Flood Warning until 08:54PM

Affecting the following counties in West Virginia... Calhoun...Gilmer...Harrison... and Kanawha. The Flood Warning continues for the West Fork River Near Clarksburg.

* AT 5:15 AM Friday the stage was 13.6 feet.

* Minor Flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.

* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by this morning and continue to rise to near 14.3 feet by mid-afternoon today. The river will fall below flood stage by mid-afternoon today.

* At stages near 14.0 feet...Water starts to enter some homes, along the low sections near the river. Libery Avenue starts to flood.

* A crest near 14.3 feet compares to a previous crest of 16.3 feet on April 16 2018.

* AFFECTED AREAS: HARRISON, WV

Instructions:

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around and don't drown. Do not drive into areas where water is flowing over the roadway. Most deaths occur when motorists try crossing flooded roads. You may also report flooding by posting your report to the Charleston West Virginia National Weather service Facebook page...or by using the Twitter HASHTAG...NWSRLX.
