Please join us Tuesday, September 25, 2018, from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m., to learn how the Fremont Police Department is successfully leveraging technology for public safety. During the meeting staff will provide an overview of several programs, both public and private that are impacting the department's ability to solve crime. The one-hour program will include general information, case studies, best practices, as well as information about Department policies on the following topics:
- City-wide community camera program
- Use of private video at retail centers
- License plate reader (LPR) cameras
- Residential camera registration program
- Unmanned aerial vehicle program (drones)
- Future projects
