Today's murder victim from Castle Rock Road identified as Deontay Alston, 19, of Burton. Investigation continues. 
Earlier this afternoon, Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a report of a deceased adult male in a wooded area off of Castle Rock Road in Burton. Deputies arrived, secured the scene and notified investigators. Investigators arrived a short time later and observed that the adult male appeared to have died as a result of multiple gunshot wounds.
The Beaufort County Coroner's Office identified the deceased adult male as 19-year-old Deontay Alston of Burton. A forensic autopsy will be performed on Tuesday at the Medical University of South Carolina to establish the cause and manner of Alston's death.
There will be an increased law enforcement presence in the area of Castle Rock Road in Burton over the next few hours.
