Narrative:
On Saturday, September 22, 2018, members of the Pomona Police Department’s Major Crimes Task Force were conducting high visibility patrol within the city of Pomona. Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 600 block of N. Currier Av. for vehicle code violations. During the course of this traffic stop, narcotics and a loaded large capacity gun magazine was recovered. This investigation led to a search warrant were a large amount of methamphetamine was recovered from a local motel room.
Officers conducted a 2nd traffic stop in the area of the IS-10 freeway and Fairplex Av., during the course of this traffic stop a large amount of methamphetamine and a large amount of US currency were seized.
During tonight’s patrol shift, nearly two pounds of methamphetamine was seized. Four suspects were arrested and booked at the Pomona city jail.
