At 1038 AM CDT...Doppler radar indicated that the heavy rain had come to an end, but excessive runoff will continue to cause flooding of creeks and streams. In particular, Grove Creek remains out of its banks. Although the floodwaters are receding, some low water crossings may still be impassable. Rainfall amounts exceeded 8 inches in the Waxahachie and Midlothian areas.

Instructions:
Turn around; don't drown. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
