The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for... Eastern Tarrant County in north central Texas... Dallas County in north central Texas...
* Until 1145 PM CDT..
* At 949 PM CDT, emergency management officials reported flooding in the warned area. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen and more heavy rain is moving across the area. Flash flooding will continuing across parts of Tarrant and Dallas County for the next few hours!
* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Garland, Irving, Grand Prairie, Mesquite, Carrollton, Richardson, Mansfield, Rowlett, Euless, Desoto, Bedford, Grapevine, Cedar Hill, Haltom City, Keller, Coppell and Duncanville.
* AFFECTED AREAS: TARRANT, TX ... DALLAS, TX
Instructions:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
