On 9/20/18 at approximately 5:30 PM, a Rohnert Park Public Safety Officer was patrolling the parking lot of the Goon Night Inn. He noticed a suspicious vehicle occupied by two people in the parking lot. The officer made contact and was able to determine 31 year old Lao Puapheng from Sacramento was on probation for previous vehicle theft. A search pursuant to Puaphengs probation terms reveled he was in possession of a loaded 9mm semi-automatic pistol. The pistol had a round in the chamber as well as a loaded high capacity magazine.
The officer also located a large amount of marijuana, methamphetamine, heroin and drug paraphernalia. The officer arrested Puapheng for possession of the listed items.
In addition to Puapheng, officers also contacted 33 year old Reychel Dizon from Sacramento. She too was in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Both Puapheng and Dizon were transported to the Sonoma County Jail without incident. At the time of the press release, it is unknown what the bail will be for either arrestee.
