If you are in the market for a used vehicle, please take your time and protect yourself from becoming a victim.  The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department has seen an increase in people becoming victims by purchasing stolen vehicles.  If you are searching Craig's List, Facebook, Offer-Up, or any of the other web-based outlets, be weary of a cheap deal.  If it sounds too-good-to-be-true, it probably is!
