                Deputy Steven McPeters of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Timmy Ray Noblitt, 33, of 268 Faith Baptist Church Road in Marion, with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting a public officer.
                Shortly before 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 25, McPeters and Deputy Seth Carver received information that Noblitt was at his residence on Faith Baptist Church Road, and they knew he had outstanding warrants.
                When they arrived, Noblitt fled. The deputies apprehended him a short time later. A search of his person turned up 11 grams of methamphetamine and some drug paraphernalia.
