Flash Flood Watch until 01:00PM Thursday
Another round of heavy rain is expected from tonight into Thursday morning. Rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are expected with locally higher amounts possible. High rainfall rates are expected, which could lead to urban flooding. Area rivers will also be on the rise and flash flooding is possible. In addition, there could be mud and rock slides in the steeper terrain areas. The time to prepare is now. Do not wait until heavy rain or flooding is occurring. The Flash Flood Watch is now in effect for
* Portions of southeast Minnesota and Wisconsin, including the following areas, in southeast Minnesota, Dodge, Fillmore, Houston, Mower, Olmsted, Wabasha, and Winona. In Wisconsin, Adams, Buffalo, Jackson, Juneau, La Crosse, Monroe, Trempealeau, and Vernon.
* From 7 PM CDT this evening through Thursday afternoon
* Heavy rainfall of 2 to 4 inches, locally higher possible. Widespread flooding is possible.
* Prepare a plan of action now. Know where to go if water rises in your area. NEVER cross a flooded road.
