                Deputy Chris Byrd of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged 31-year-old Krystal Renee Johnson, of 113 Steakhouse Road in Morganton, and 45-year-old Guy Truett Randolph Jr., of 194 Sherwood Forest Drive in Nebo, with possession of methamphetamine.
                At 10:20 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 25, Byrd stopped a vehicle on Elaine Street in Nebo because of an expired tag. He found Randolph driving and Johnson in the passenger seat.
                A subsequent search of the automobile turned up 2.23 grams of methamphetamine.
