#LASD Investigating Two Vehicle Fatal Traffic Collision, Palmdale
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Palmdale Station Detectives are investigating the circumstances of a two vehicle traffic collision that occurred Saturday, September 15, 2018, at 3:47 p.m. on 35th St E, north of Avenue Q-10, Palmdale.
Detectives have found that a male riding a motorcycle was traveling southbound on 35th St. E. in the number one lane. A Ford Escape was traveling southbound on 35th St. E. and attempted to make a U-turn from the number two lane of travel in front of the motorcyclist and the two vehicles collided. The driver of the Ford was cooperative during the investigation and was treated at Palmdale Regional Medical Center. As a result of his injuries, the male adult motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire Department.
35th St. E. was closed from Palmdale Boulevard to Avenue Q-12 during the investigation. The street was reopened at approximately 9:00 p.m.
