DETAILS: Patrol units were detailed to a motor vehicle crash involving an overturned vehicle on U.S. Route 1. Ptl. Hojnacki investigated the crash and determined the following: A black 2018 Hyundai Sonata had struck the rear of gray Nissan Altima traveling in the far right lane. The force and angle of the impact caused the Hyundai Sonata to overturn. While overturned the Hyundai Sonata slid on its roof into the concrete barrier and then down the left lane where it struck the rear of a white Honda Civic. During the crash investigation, the driver, Eric Naprawa was found to be DWI. He was processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending a future date at West Windsor Municipal Court.

DETAILS: Ptl. McQuade initiated a motor vehicle stop on a silver 2012 Toyota sedan for speeding and erratic driving. During the stop, the driver, Larry Miller was found to be in possession of under 50 grams of marijuana that was inside of a prescription bottle, a partially smoked marijuana cigarette, and various paraphernalia associated with marijuana usage such as grinders. The passenger, Robert Williams was found to be in possession of under 50 grams of marijuana contained in a plastic bag that was inside of his backpack. Both Miller and Williams were processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending future dates at the West Windsor Municipal Court.

Liedtka-Nixon was processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending a future date at the West Windsor Municipal Court.

DETAILS: Ptl. Crawford was detailed to the Windsor Green Shopping Center for a person in the parking lot who was soliciting people for money. Ptl. Crawford observed Jerry D. Walker, who fit the description of the person soliciting, approach someone, engage them, and then walk away. Walker told Ptl. Crawford that he was trying to raise money for prisoner re-entry programs, and did not know that he needed a permit to solicit in West Windsor (as required by Local Ordinance). When Walker was asked to identify himself, he provided a false name and information to the officer. Further investigation revealed his true identity, and he was determined to be a fugitive from justice and “Wanted” by the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department. He also had several warrants for his arrest from Trenton, Ewing, Hopewell, and Princeton. He was processed at WWPD Headquarters and then transported to the Mercer County Corrections Center.

During the stop, the driver, Christopher Reaves was found to be in possession of under 50 grams of marijuana that was located in the glove compartment of the car. Reaves was also in possession of a marijuana grinder and a Cigarillo cigar. Reaves was processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending a future date at the West Windsor Municipal Court.

Parteek Tomar had lost control of his gray 2016 Dodge Challenger while he was on U.S. Route 1, drove into the Gulf gas station where he struck a light pole, crossed Washington Rd. to the other side, drove into the AT&T store parking lot, and finally came to a stop in the parking lot of the Princeton Baptist Church. Along the way, several objects including a sign were struck. Several open cans of Beer were found inside the vehicle, and Tomar was determined to be DWI. Tomar was processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending a future date at West Windsor Municipal Court.
