The Clayton County Sheriff’s Office is celebrating having over 300,000 Nixle subscribers of people who either live, work, or play in Clayton County!   The officially make us the #1 law-enforcement agency in the nation with the most subscribers per capital.  

The Nixle alert was a vision to keep the public informed of crime, traffic, weather, and hazardous events in real time.  However, Nixle proved to be just as valuable to law-enforcement to help us fight crime.   The Nixle alert aided thousands of citizens in becoming the extended eyes and ears for the Sheriff’s Office helping us solve crimes and capture criminals.  The Nixle tip line has become a sort of social media version of “Crime Stoppers” offering anonymity to those who wish to remain unnamed.  The results have been tremendous.

I thank each and everyone of our loyal and new subscribers for your support!  Please continue to be our extended eyes and ears to assist us on the war on crime.
