On 09/06/2018, Investigators from the Ventura County Pre-Trial Detention Facility Classification Unit and Detectives from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Special Crimes Unit / Intelligence concluded a month long narcotics investigation into Ventura Resident Kenneth Dorn, who was involved in the smuggling of narcotics into the Ventura County Pre-Trial Detention Facility. The investigation was assisted by the Ventura County Sheriff’s Gang Unit.
On 09/06/2018, Investigators and Detectives executed a signed search warrant on Dorn’s residence in Ventura, where the intended recipient of the smuggled narcotics has recently resided.
During the search of the residence, Investigators and Detectives located methamphetamine, heroin, and numerous illegal firearms including unregistered assault weapons and home-manufactured handguns.
Dorn was booked at the Ventura County Pre-Trial Detention Facility for weapons charges, with bail set at $100,000. Webb was also booked at the Ventura County Pre-Trial Detention Facility for weapons and narcotics charges, with bail set at $110,000. Both arrestees have scheduled court appearances on 09/10/2018 at the Ventura County Superior Court.
