Lane reversals for Hurricane Florence evacuation will only be employed if necessary. 
As Hurricane Florence approaches, Executive Order 2018-29 ordered the evacuation of coastal South Carolina residents for their personal safety, However, residents and guests of Beaufort County will be allowed to travel within county borders, until there is a need for lane reversals on U.S. 278 and U.S.21. At that time all residents must evacuate Beaufort County.
