At 2:30pm Governor McMaster ordered an evacuation of 26 South Carolina counties pending the arrival of Hurricane Florence.
Beginning at noon on Tuesday 9-11-18, Interstate 26 will be reversed and all lanes will be leaving the coast. The earliest exit from the interstate will be Columbia.
Other noteworthy items:
• Town Hall will close Tuesday 9-11-18 at noon
• Municipal Court scheduled for 3pm Tuesday 9-11-18 has been cancelled
• The Planning Commission Public Hearing for 6pm Tuesday 9-11-18 has been cancelled
• Tuesday garbage collection will begin at 5am and cease at 11am. Please have your roll out carts street-side tonight.
• All Charleston County schools have closed beginning Tuesday 9-11-18
• All state and county offices have closed beginning Tuesday 9-11-18
