The National Weather Service in Sterling Virginia has extended the

* Flood Warning for... North central Washington County in north central Maryland... Eastern Morgan County in the Panhandle of West Virginia... Northwestern Berkeley County in the Panhandle of West Virginia...

* Until 930 PM EDT Monday.

* At 257 PM EDT, stream gauges indicate creeks and streams remain elevated due to the previous rainfall. Jones Springs in Berkely County along the Back Creek remains above the flood stage, and is slowly falling. Dry Run Road and Daisy Lane are flooded based on the gauge level. Water also is covering the pastureland near the creek.

* Some locations that may experience flooding include... Pecktonville, Big Pool, Cherry Run, Tomahawk, Glengary, Johnsontown, Shanghai, Jones Springs, Valley High, Spruce Pine Hollow and Sleepy Creek.

* AFFECTED AREAS: BERKELEY, WV ... MORGAN, WV ... WASHINGTON, MD

Instructions:

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
