The National Hurricane Center (NHC) released its 11:00 a.m. update on the projected path of Hurricane Florence. The NHC advises that Hurricane Florence is moving west at 13 miles per hour with maximum sustained winds of 115 miles per hour. Please continue to plan ahead of this storm.
The Sheriff's Office will continue to keep you advised of developments with Hurricane Florence. There is a conference call involving state, county and municipal officials scheduled for 1:30 p.m. today.
