The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... North central Harding County in northeastern New Mexico... West central Union County in northeastern New Mexico... Eastern Colfax County in northeastern New Mexico...

* Until 415 PM MDT.

* At 311 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Farley, or 24 miles south of Des Moines, moving southeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include... Gladstone, Farley and Yates.

* AFFECTED AREAS: COLFAX, NM ... HARDING, NM ... UNION, NM

Instructions:

Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside should move to shelter inside a strong building. Stay away from windows.
