The National Weather Service in Charleston West Virginia has issued a

* Flood Warning for... Eastern Doddridge County in northern West Virginia... Taylor County in northern West Virginia... East central Tyler County in northern West Virginia... Northern Barbour County in northeastern West Virginia... Harrison County in northern West Virginia...

* Until 245 PM EDT Sunday.

* At 837 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated that heavy rain was falling over the area and over 3 inches has already occurred in some locations. The continued heavy rain will cause flooding.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Clarksburg, Grafton, Philippi, Bridgeport, Shinnston, Stonewood, Nutter Fort, Salem, Lumberport, Anmoore, Enterprise, West Milford, Lost Creek, Flemington, Valley Falls, Grangeville, Knottsville, Wolf Summit, Meadland and Tygart Lake State Park.

* AFFECTED AREAS: BARBOUR, WV ... TAYLOR, WV ... DODDRIDGE, WV ... TYLER, WV ... HARRISON, WV

Instructions:

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you can do so safely.
