Residents and guests are encouraged to closely monitor Tropical Storm Florence www.nhc.noaa.gov for updates on its projected path. According to the 5:00 p.m. advisory from the National Hurricane Center, Tropical Storm Florence was located 810 miles southeast of Bermuda with maximum winds of 70 miles per hour moving west at 5 miles per hour. The next advisory from the National Hurricane Center will be at 11:00 tonight.

There has been no decision on evacuation as of this time. Tropical Storm Florence is considered a serious threat and we urge residents and guests to plan ahead. The next update from the Sheriff's Office will be tomorrow morning.
