Flash Flood Watch until 04:00PM

The Flash Flood Watch is now in effect for

* A portion of north central Texas, including the following areas, Bell, Bosque, Comanche, Coryell, Dallas, Ellis, Erath, Hamilton, Hill, Hood, Johnson, Kaufman, Lampasas, McLennan, Mills, Navarro, Parker, Rockwall, Somervell, and Tarrant.

* Through this afternoon

* Slow moving showers and thunderstorms will continue across parts of North and Central Texas today. An additional 1 to 3 inches of rainfall will be possible in some areas.

* Soils are saturated in some areas and heavy rainfall today could result in rapid runoff and an increasing threat for flash flooding.

* AFFECTED AREAS: TARRANT ... COMANCHE ... PARKER ... NAVARRO ... DALLAS ... HOOD ... BELL ... MILLS ... ROCKWALL ... HILL ... KAUFMAN ... SOMERVELL ... BOSQUE ... JOHNSON ... HAMILTON ... LAMPASAS ... MCLENNAN ... ERATH ... ELLIS ... CORYELL
