Grant County has issued a travel advisory due to heavy rains and anticipated rainfall amounts over the next 48hrs.

Travel Advisory: The lowest level of local travel advisory, means that routine travel or activities may be restricted in areas because of a hazardous situation, and individuals should use caution or avoid those areas.

Numerous county roads have standing water and could cause problems with vehicle control and hyrdoplaning. Residents are encouraged to slow speeds down to minimize those situations. Nightfall will further reduce reaction times.

The County Higway Department has deployed signs to areas already affected but new areas are popping up.
