Here is the Castaic/ Val Verde (Zone 2) Crime Information and Public Safety Report for August 19, 2018 through September 2, 2018:

8/19/18 
Commercial Burglary- 29000 block of Commerce Center Drive
The victim reported a hole was cut in the doors of the warehouse. It was unknown what was taken at the time of the report. The crime occurred in the early morning hours. 

8/21/18 
Vehicle Burglary- 31000 block of Bobcat Way
The victim reported a purse was stolen from a vehicle parked in the driveway. The suspect broke the passenger window to gain entry. The crime occurred in the early morning hours. 

8/24/18 
Grand Theft- 28000 block of Industry Drive
The victim reported the copper backflow water valve was cut from the buildings' supply line. The valve is estimated at $2,000. 

8/27/18 
Attempt Burglary- 27000 block of Live Oak Road
The victim reported the glass door to the business shattered. The victim was unsure if anything was stolen at the time of the report. The crime occurred in the early morning hours. 

8/31/18 
Theft- 29000 block of Plymouth Road
The metal front door to the community mail box was pried off and stolen. There were numerous items of mail that did not appear to have been disturbed inside. Nearby surveillance camera footage shows the suspects left prior to taking any mail.
