This morning, the Sheriff's Office and Coroner's Office responded to a report of deceased woman at an Apple Lane, Sun City residence. The deceased woman—identified as 73-year-old Sandra Hodges—was found inside the residence and the cause and manner of her death was not apparent. Throughout the day, Sheriff's Office investigators Interviewed witnesses and examined the Apple Lane residence for forensic evidence.

A short time ago, Sheriff's Office investigators concluded their investigation of the death scene and have cleared from the Apple Lane residence. A forensic autopsy on Sandra Hodges is scheduled to be performed at the Medical University of South Carolina tomorrow morning and is expected to aid in determining the cause and manner of her death.
