#10 On Sheriff Victor Hill’s Top Ten Most Wanted Captured By Forest Park Police
Yesterday, a Forest Park Police Officer conducted a traffic stop for the tag showing that the vehicle had no insurance. The driver Steven Byron Duncan gave the Officer a false name to avoid being detected, but shortly after confessed to his real name. It was then discovered that Duncan was one of Sheriff Victor Hill’s Top Ten Most Wanted. After being handcuffed, Mr. Duncan decided to run. Perhaps the reality of going to the “Hill-ton” to face a wall overwhelmed him. The officer quickly apprehended Duncan and placed him on the ground. Afterwards the officer then was able to detect a strong scent of marijuana coming from the Duncan’s vehicle. Upon search of the vehicle, the officer located a bag containing an unknown amount of MDMA as well as a firearm.
Steven Byron Duncan was wanted out of Clayton County for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Home Invasion in the First Degree, Armed Robbery, Burglary with Intent to Commit a Felony-First Degree, False Imprisonment, Pointing or Aiming Gun or Pistol at Another, and Possession of Firearm or Knife During Commission of or Attempt to Commit Certain Felonies. These charges stem from an incident which occurred on May 30th, 2018 at a location in Lake City where Duncan made illegal entry into a Lake City residence. Duncan went into the victim’s bedroom and stood in the doorway refusing to allow the victim to exit and brandishing a black and silver pistol. Duncan pointed the pistol at the victim and proceeded to rob the victim of their cell phone and $4,000.00 in U.S. Currency before fleeing the residence.
Not only is Duncan now facing the wall at Georgia’s toughest para-military jail, but he has now become the poster child advocating for Fugitives like himself to only drive cars with valid insurance.
