Officers and Investigators of the Jackson Police Department respond to the 100 block of Conger Street in reference to a welfare check. Responding officers received information about a subject who supposedly had committed bodily harm. A witness in the area advised of hearing a gunshot from inside the residence.
After several attempts of contacting the subject with negative results, the SWAT team made entry and located the subject. The subject was not harmed. This is an ongoing investigation.
