Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide investigators are continuing their investigation into the murder of a man. The incident occurred Monday, September 3, 2018, at approximately 1:50 a.m., on the 3800 block of 4th Street, in East Los Angeles.
Residents in the area heard gunshots and discovered the victim, a male Hispanic 20-30 years-old, lying on the sidewalk suffering from gunshot wounds. He succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
At this time the shooting is believed to be gang related.
There is no further description of the suspects and the murder weapon has not yet been recovered.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau detectives are responding to the intersection of South Eastman Avenue / East 4th Street, Unincorporated East Los Angeles, to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male adult.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing and there is no additional information available at this time.
