The Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Foundation & the Santa Clarita Valley Search & Rescue Team present the 12th Annual Golf Tournament on Monday, September 17, 2018. This year, the tournament honors fallen LASD Deputy Arthur Pelino, EOW: March 19, 1978. There is a pledge of a $2,000 foundation scholarship that will be shared and awarded to four deserving, local students.

Registration is between 8:00 a.m.- 9:45 a.m. Golfers at their carts by 9:45 a.m. with a tee off time of 10:00 a.m. BBQ lunch and Open bar for approximately one hour following golf rounds. From 3:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., Dinner and Awards.

The golf tournament will feature a four-person scramble format in which each player must contribute a minimum of three drives to the team’s score. Mulligan packages will also be available.

Individual $350 per person – Foursome $1,200

The Santa Clarita Valley Search and Rescue Team is a volunteer group made up of reserve deputies and civilian volunteers. The team was formed to assist the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department in search and rescue operations or any other governmental agency upon request.The SCV Search & Rescue Team works under the direction of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station.

The Search and Rescue team can and will respond 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to calls involving vehicles over the side, earthquakes, lost hikers, power outages, and missing people of all ages, along with rescuing people or recovering evidence in locations involving challenging terrain.
