Seeking the Public's Assistance to Identify Robbery Suspect 
On August 31, 2018 at 10:22 am, Novato Police Officers were alerted to a robbery which had just occurred at the CVS Pharmacy located at 1707 Grant Ave.
Once on scene, officers learned that the suspect walked into the CVS Pharmacy wearing a grey sweater, a hat and sunglasses, and passed a note demanding medication from the pharmacist. The suspect then walked around the counter and the pharmacist, afraid for his life, complied with the demand. The suspect also took money from the cash register and then fled from the store. No one was injured in this incident.
After an extensive search of the area by multiple officers, the suspect was not located. The suspect was described as a black male adult, approximately 20-30 years old, thin to average build and approximately 5’5 – 5’9 in height.
