LOCATION: Silverado High School, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Unknown
SUMMARY: On August 31, 2018, an employee at Silverado High School reported receiving threats against the school.
Deputies from the Victorville Police Department, along with explosive detection K-9’s from the Sheriff’s Departments Bomb Arson Division, conducted a thorough search of the school campus. The campus was cleared and no credible threats detected. Silverado High School and Cobalt Institute of Math and Science will remain closed. Classes will resume at both campuses on Tuesday, Sept. 4.
