Media Notice: Press Conference - Capture, arrest & extradition of wanted fugitive Shannon Steven Fox 
Menlo Park, California: The Menlo Park Police Department will be holding a press conference to discuss the capture, arrest and extradition of wanted fugitive Shannon Steven Fox, who is wanted in connection to the death of 6 year old Lisa Xavier, nine years ago.
Chief Dave Bertini and representatives from the Federal Bureau of Investigations, the United States Attorney’s Office and the San Mateo County District Attorney’s Office will discuss the case, which occurred in November of 2009, in which it is alleged that Shannon Steven Fox, while participating in a speed contest collided with a vehicle occupied by 6 year old Lisa Xavier, killing her. It is alleged that Fox fled the area, and eventually the country, and has been a fugitive for the past 8 years.
The press conference will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 29 in the City of Menlo Park Council Chambers located at 701 Laurel Street, Menlo Park, CA . Members of the media should plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled conference time.
