#012 Appropriation of Lost Property
Officer Blanchett arrested a 46 year old Fremont transient for appropriation of lost property, possession of a controlled substance and possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia.  We were contacted by a community member who saw an ad on OfferUp for a “real police radio.”  The community member assisted officers by setting up a meeting to purchase the radio.  The suspect claimed to have found the radio at Central Park.  Upon examination it was determined that the radio belonged to City Park Rangers.

#180827018, 170827021 Auto Burglaries/Vandalism
CSO Schwartz took an auto burglary report at Phil’s General Auto Repair where 5 different vehicles were burglarized and their respective tires slashed. CSO Schwartz subsequently took another report at ASCO Auto Body and Repair where 3 vehicles were vandalized, 7 tires slashed, and a window shattered. Both businesses are on the 41000 block of Albrae Street.

#023 Vehicle Theft
At 11:56 a.m.,. Officer J. Roberts patrolled the area of Mojave Dr/ Mission Blvd and came upon a stolen vehicle out of Concord near the 7-eleven store. It was parked and occupied by two females.  Officers established contact and subsequently arrested the two females for vehicle theft

#041 Warrant Arrest
Officer Gregory was dispatched to a suspected indecent exposure that occurred out front of an address on Tamayo Street. A 33 year old adult male was detained in his vehicle and arrested for a misdemeanor warrant.   The victim did not wish to pursue charges with regard to the indecent exposure.

#044 Theft
A MacBook Pro was stolen form a customer inside Suju’s Coffee and Tea on Thornton Ave while using it. The suspect was described as a black male adult, 15-16 years old, 5’5 “- 5’6”, 130lbs, wearing a black hoodie and dark blue pants.  The male was last seen on foot inside a nearby apartment complex.

#046 Theft
A MacBook Pro was stolen from a customer inside Starbucks (Warm Springs).  The suspect was described as a black female in her 20s. It’s unknown if the two incidents are related.

#053 Auto Burglary
A window smash auto burglary occurred in the Starbucks parking lot at Mowry/Blacow around 8:30 p.m.  A briefcase containing a laptop was taken from the rear floor board behind the driver seat.  No further suspect or suspect vehicle information at this time.

#002 Public Intoxication Arrest
At 1:34 a.m., a reporting party called 911 from the 1500 block of White Birch Terrace stating an unknown female was outside her apartment screaming.  The screaming women at first yelled that her son had been killed and then changed her story and stated someone had been stabbed inside her apartment.  Officers respond with lights and siren and locate the caller as well as the screaming woman outside in the hallway.  The woman who’d been screaming is identified as a 28 year old Fremont resident.  Officers conducted a protective sweep of her apartment and locate no persons inside and no signs that any type of crime had occurred.  The female is found to be extremely intoxicated, and when asked what happened, makes incoherent statements.  It’s determined that no stabbing occurred.  The female is determined not to be able to care for herself and arrested for public intoxication.  Investigated by Officer Samayoa.

Transient/Homeless Calls for Service:
#2550 – 5:49 a.m. – 7-11 Sundale – A transient was coming in/out of store picking things up and didn’t want to purchase anything.  The transient left the area.
#2560 – 6:27 a.m. – 7-11 Mowry Ave – A reporting party called to report a transient walking in the area of the dumpsters with a high valued specialized bike.  Officers responded but were unable to locate.
#2811 – 4:59 p.m. - Chase Bank Paseo Padre Pkwy – A group of transients were sitting on the side of the building making customers feel uncomfortable.  Officers responded, made contact and asked that they move along.
#2920 - 8:37 p.m. – Urgent Care – a transient was sleeping in front of the business and refusing to leave.  Officers arrived and the subject had already left the area.
