On August 26, 2018 at 9:25 a.m. Gibson County Central Dispatch received a report of two suspicious persons walking in the 700 block of East State Street in Princeton, Indiana. Deputy Austin Farrington and Deputy U.B. Smith located the individuals and spoke with the individuals. While speaking with 36 year old Paul Nowell of Princeton a pat down was conducted of Mr. Nowell and Methamphetamines and Drug Paraphernalia were found on his person. At that point Deputy Farrington placed Mr. Nowell into custody and transported him to the Gibson County Jail. Upon arriving at the Gibson County Jail Mr. Nowell was charged with Possession of Methamphetamines and Possession of Paraphernalia. He remains in custody without bond.

All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
