CVPD issuing a Traffic Advisory for today, August 26, 2018 for Southbound 805 and Main St. for concert traffic at 4 pm 
The Chula Vista Police Department is issuing a Traffic Advisory for today, Sunday August 26, 2018, due to the Rod Stewart / Cyndi Lauper concert at the Mattress Firm Amphitheater.
Heavy traffic is expected before the concert on the southbound lanes of I-805 to Main St. due to the additional concert traffic and the opening of Heritage Rd and construction on Main St. Heavy Traffic is also expected on Main St. from I-805 to the Amphitheatre due to the opening of Heritage Rd and related construction on Main St.
If you live in the area or need to go somewhere in this area, CVPD suggests you use alternate routes to access that portion of Main St. that will be impacted by the concert traffic.
The show starts at 6:00 pm and ends at 10:15 pm. Traffic is expected to start around 3 pm and last until around 11 pm.
Alternate routes to the venue include:
· South Bay Expressway (toll road) to Otay Mesa Rd.
· I-5 South to 905 East to 805 North and exit Main St
