Robert Yorba arrested for possession of a weapon and controlled substance

LOCATION: Larch Avenue and Baywind Lane, Bloomington
SUSPECT(S): Robert Yorba, 20 year old resident of Bloomington
SUMMARY:
On Saturday, August 25, 2018, at 6:03 a.m., while in the area of Larch Avenue and Baywind Avenue, Bloomington, Deputy Gerardo Jimenez, from the Fontana Sheriff's Station, conducted a traffic stop of a 1999 Honda Civic for a vehicle code violation. During the traffic stop, Deputy Jimenez found the driver, Robert Yorba, was in possession of a loaded handgun, suspected controlled substances and over 100 altered ignition and door keys which are commonly used during vehicle thefts.
Yorba was arrested for Health and Safety Code 11370.1(a) Possession of a Controlled Substance while armed and Penal Code 12022.1(B) Commit a Felony while on Bail or Own Recognizance, and booked into the Central Detention Center on $100,000 bail.
