Evansville man arrested for driving without ever having received a valid license.

On August 24, 2018, at 4:58 p.m. Deputy U.B. Smith conducted a traffic stop on a Gold 2003 Ford Escape for making an unsafe lane movement on US 41 near County Road 1250 South. Upon stopping the car Deputy Smith identified the driver as 45 year old Jenai Lomae of Evansville. During a roadside investigation Deputy Smith discovered that Mr. Lomae had never been issued a valid driver’s license and placed Mr. Lomae into custody and transported him to the Gibson County Jail. Upon arriving at the Gibson County Jail Mr. Lomae was charged with the crime of Operator Never Licensed with a Prior Conviction. He remains in custody on a $650 bond.

Assisting Deputy Smith in his investigation was Fort Branch Officer Darryl Parker.

All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
