The Newark Police Department is releasing information about recent crime and police activity that has occurred within our community. 
August 22nd
0139 Hours: Officer Wang investigated a window smash auto burglary on the 36000 block of Dalewood Ct.
1027 Hours: Officer Herbert contacted and arrested a 40-year-old female out of Newark for an outstanding warrant. She was cited and released.
1219 Hours: Officer D. Johnson contacted and arrested a 42-year-old male out of Newark for an outstanding warrant. He was cited and released.
August 21st
1112 Hours: Officer Palacio contacted and arrested a 45-year-old male out of Oakland for an outstanding warrant and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
1203 Hours: Officers Wilkerson and Warran arrested a 24-year-old male out of Newark and a 20-year-old male of Newark for resisting arrest, driving on a suspended license and threatening a police officer. Both were booked into Santa Rita Jail.
August 20th
1524 Hours: Officers Riddles, Wilkerson, Nobbe, and Warren arrested a 21-year-old male out of Oakland for possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest.
August 19th
2137 Hours: Officer Slavazza contacted and arrested a 40-year-old female out of Fresno for being under the influence of drugs. She was cited and released.
