Update:  PG&E has competed the repair to the ruptured gas line.  Santa Theresa Blvd is now open to traffic.  Thank you!

The Gilroy Police and Fire Departments are on scene of a gas leak.  A gas line was struck by a construction crew working in the area.  Please avoid the area of Santa Theresa Blvd between Ballybuion Court and Club Drive.  Traffic is currently being diverted.  PG&E is currently on scene, and there is no estimated time of completion at this time.  There is no threat to public safety and no evacuations are planned at this point.
