Recent Department Activity

On Monday, at 10:13 AM, Officer Matthew Belaski was dispatched to the 600 block of Kelcie Dr. for a report of found drug paraphernalia.   They contacted a subject, identified as Chad Kidd (29 years of Tracy), who was determined to have outstanding warrants for his arrest.  He was taken into custody and later released on a citation.  In addition, Shawna Cope (41 years of Ripon) was contacted and found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.  She was released from custody on a citation.
On Monday, at 11:46 PM, Officer Alex Contreras conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at Laurelwood Ln. and Yaple Ct. for an equipment violation.  The driver, identified as Robert Johnston (26 years of Manteca), was determined to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and an amount of Methamphetamine.  He was taken into custody and released at the scene on a citation.
On Tuesday, at 8:32 AM, Officer Belaski made contact with a subject at 1553 W. Colony Rd.  The subject, identified as Michael Turrieta Sr. (37 years of Stockton), was determined to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.  A search was then completed of his vehicle by utilizing the department K9.  The search yielded counterfeit money, several suspicious identifications cards, bank cards, gift cards, social security cards, and what is believed to be stolen property.  In addition, a credit card encoder was located.  Michael Turrieta was taken into custody for identity theft, forgery, possession of stolen property, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
On Tuesday, at 9:00 PM, FTO Eric Boger made contact with a subject at 1000 Stouffer St.  The subject, identified as Brian Debem (38 years of Valley Springs), was determined to have outstanding warrants for his arrest.  He was taken into custody and booked into the San Joaquin County Jail.
On Thursday, at 12:07 AM, officers responded to 258 E. Frontage Rd. regarding vandalism.  It was reported that a subject was breaking windows at the location.  Officers arrived on scene and contacted a subject, identified as Richard Blanchard (57 years of Ripon).  It was determined that Blanchard caused significant damage at the location.  He was taken into custody for felony vandalism and booked into the San Joaquin County Jail.
