The search for the unknown male, who was believed armed with a handgun and fled on foot following a traffic stop on Rerock Road in Burton this morning, is shutting down. The subject—described as African-American, 5'08" tall, 160 pounds, in his early-twenties, wearing black jeans and a gray tie-dye shirt—has not been located. 

Although the subject may have left the Shanklin Road area, residents in Burton are asked to remain vigilant and to call Sheriff's Office Emergency Dispatch 9-1-1 if coming into contact with him.
