Cases of Interest:
#009 Felony Warrant Service
Several officers responded to the 41000 block of Ramon Terrace to serve a $200,000 felony warrant.  The 22 year old adult male suspect was contacted and taken into custody without incident.

#015 Burglary Attempt
Two subjects were attempting to break into a storage unit at Storage Solutions (43000 block of Osgood Rd.) with bolt cutters.  One suspect was detained by community members and the other fled on foot southbound Osgood Rd.  Officer Degestein detained the suspect who fled on foot at Osgood Rd and Darby Cm.  The two males, ages 20 and 22, were arrested.  The 22 year old had a non-extraditable, felony arrest warrant out of Maryland for armed robbery/first degree assault with a firearm used in a violent crime.  The 20 year old was found to be on active County probation for burglary. 

#019 Battery/Vandalism
A mother and daughter got into a mutual combat fight in a parking lot.  Following the fight, the daughter rammed mom’s unoccupied parked vehicle several times with her vehicle, pushing it into a ditch before fleeing the scene.  Both parties were contacted and desired no prosecution.  Officers documented the incident.  

#008 Stolen Vehicle Report
A vehicle theft occurred sometime overnight in the 46400 block of Briar Place.  The vehicle, a grey 2011 Chevrolet Silverado pickup was located soon after we took the report by Hayward CHP. 

#036 Obstructing/Resisting Arrest
Officer Rose conducted a pedestrian stop on a 20 year old adult male near the Civic Center BART station.  The subject was not compliant and additional units were requested.  As patrol and traffic units were arriving on scene, the male fled on foot.  Responding officers cut him off before he could hop a fence and he was taken into custody. 

Transient/Homeless Related Calls for Service:

#9871 – 6:19 a.m. – Two transients were reported to have an open flame at the Fremont Main Library.  The reporting party asked officers to conduct a security check and they were asked to put the flame out.

#9882 - 7:06 a.m. – Several transients were in the rear of a business located in the 39200 block of Paseo Padre Pkwy and one had no clothes on.  Customers and delivery drivers were uncomfortable.  Officers made contact with the group and they were asked to move along.

#9961- 10:23 a.m. - A disturbance was reported in the rear parking lot of City Hall involving homeless persons.  Officers responded but were unable to locate the involved parties.

#9974 - 10:50 a.m. - A homeless male was hanging out near the trash dumpster in the parking lot of Carmen's BBQ. Officers responded and moved the subject along.

#9975 – 10:56 a.m. – A well-known female was causing a disturbance behind Allegro Music and was ushered along by officers.
