Residential Burglaries
#017- 47400 block of Towhee Street – The victim arrived home and saw a ladder positioned toward the second story of their residence.  They walked into the residence and determined a burglary occurred.
 
#034 - 34900 block of Oyster Bay Terrace – Unknown suspect(s) entered the home through a window and stole personal items.
 
Cases of Interest:
Outside Assist - We received a couple of 911 calls regarding several goats blocking the roadway in the area of Mission Blvd. and Pickering.  They fled prior to police arrival.

#004 Battery
At 2:09 a.m., a call came in regarding a fight involving a group of intoxicated females.  The caller stated the females were getting involved in a physical altercation outside of the El Camino Real Bar on Niles Blvd.  Officers responded and located one half of the altercation leaving the area and blacking out their vehicle on 2nd Street.  Officer Sun conducted the investigation and placed a 30 year old adult female, Oakland resident and a 33 year old adult female, Oakland resident, under arrest for battery after they were identified in an in-field lineup.

#009 Battery
At 11:28 a.m., a female (Fremont transient) went inside the Jack in the Box restaurant on Automall Pkwy and began screaming at customers.  She eventually battered a customer while accusing someone of taking her niece.  Officer L. Kennedy arrived and arrested the female for battery.  She was uncooperative during the arrest and would not provide her name.  She was booked at Santa Rita under the alias Jane Doe, while Deputies wait for a return from DOJ on her fingerprints.   

#010 Drunk in Public
At 11:47 a.m., a 29 year old Fremont transient, decided to get drunk and take a nap in the middle of the parking lot at the Hub Shopping Center.  Officer M. Smith arrested the male for public intoxication and Officer Gigliotti gave him a ride to jail to sober up.

#18098136 - 5:10 a.m. 5200 Mowry Ave – A male transient was rolling up a joint inside a donut shop.  The subject was gone upon arrival.

#18098156 - 7:34 a.m. Fremont Bl. /Country Dr. – a caller stated they had just watched a male transient take a blanket from a female transient.  Officers checked the area and the female did not wish to be a victim of theft.  The male was not located.

#18098207 – 9:28 a.m. Washington High School – An encampment was reported behind the school.  The occupants were contacted and asked to move along.

#18098266 11:41 a.m. Reliance Machine 4200 Solar Way – A transient male was yelling at no one in particular while getting in and out of a truck.  Officers arrived and located the vehicle unoccupied. 

#18098295 – 1:08 p.m., 39100 State St. – A male transient was walking around a construction site causing a disturbance.  The male left before officers arrived.

#18098305 – 1:31 p.m. 43400 Mission Blvd. – a male transient was reportedly walking around a parking lot.  The reporting party stated it’s an ongoing issue with the transient sleeping and urinating on the property.  The male left before officers arrived.

#18098365 – 3:59 p.m. - Norris Rd./Glendale Dr. – A transient was reported to be standing on a corner waving his hands around.  Officers responded, but the subject had left.

#18098429 – 6:06 p.m. – Hope Station – 3-3 transients were at the rear of the proiperty being loud and making a mess.  Officers arrived and the sujects left.

IH#18098617 - Three males at a bus stop were involved in a verbal altercation near Fremont Blvd. and Beard Rd.  Subjects were gone prior to arrival of FPD personnel.

IH#18098620 – A well-known female reported multiple unsubstantiated allegations.  She was gone prior to arrival of FPD units.

The midnight shift responded to several party calls throughout the night. 

#029 Grand Theft
43800 block of Pacific Commons Blvd – At 5:28 p.m., a caller reported there were several suspicious subjects seated inside an older Acura with no license plates.  The reporting party was concerned because the Acura matched the description of a vehicle associated to prior thefts at the same business.  Responding officers saw the vehicle driving northbound on Christy Street without license plates or vehicle registration paperwork on the windshield.  An enforcement stop was made and the occupants were contacted.  The driver and front passenger were both on probation with search clauses.  During a search of the occupants and vehicle, drug paraphernalia, methamphetamine, and a bag containing 17 Ulta fragrance products were located.  It was confirmed that the items had been stolen from a different Ulta earlier in the day and the loss was approximately $2500 in fragrances. A 42 year old adult male Richmond resident was arrested for grand theft, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.  A 29 year old adult male, Fremont transient was arrested for grand theft.

Transient/Homeless Related Calls for Service:
#18098630 - 6:34 a.m. - A community member called to report that a person was sleeping or passed out in front of the door to Papa Murphy’s Pizza on Mowry Ave.  A transient was contacted and found to be sleeping.  Officers moved the sleeper along.

#18098670 - 8:54 a.m. - A volunteer at Holy Spirit Catholic Church called to report that a homeless male was kicking cars in the parking lot and threatening to hit him.  Officers arrived and found the male had left the scene.
 
#18098747- 12:45 p.m. - Officers responded to the intersection of Christy St. and Auto Mall Pkwy. for reports from multiple callers on a male who was standing in the intersection holding a sign and walking up to cars.  Officer Cavaz contacted the male and he agreed to move along.
 
#027 Indecent Exposure
3800 block of Nicolet Ave – A reporting party called regarding a homeless subject who was naked near the Centerville Library.  The 55 year old adult male was located by officers in the parking lot with no pants on.  After speaking to witnesses, the male was arrested for indecent exposure.  He had previously been issued a trespass notice at the Centerville Library.

#18098813 – 3:33 p.m. - A transient was reportedly yelling at customers and asking for money at the Safeway store located at the Hub.  The male left the area before officers arrived.

#18098832 – 4:22 p.m. - A transient was sitting in front of the Walgreens on Mowry refusing to leave.  Officers responded but the male had left. 

#18098854 – 5:17 p.m. - A male transient was inside the Launderland talking to himself and asking people for money.  This made customers feel uncomfortable.  The male was gone by the time officers arrived.

#038 Trespassing
At 11:39 p.m., officers responded to a local hospital regarding a female refusing to leave the ER.  She was informed that she could stay if she registered with staff as a patient.  She told the staff she had no medical needs and just wanted to rest.  Security asked her to leave and she refused.  The 57 year old female was arrested for trespassing and transported to Santa Rita Jail.

#037 Trespassing
At 10:22 p.m. officers were dispatched to the Fremont Hub regarding a female transient causing a disturbance.  The reporting party requested a trespass warning be given to the female due to her interfering with the lawful business carried on.  She was issued the notice and left the area.

#025 Theft
Employees at Sephora (Pacific Commons) reported that two subjects were stealing from the business.  As the suspects were leaving the store, they reached into their waistbands as if they had a weapon.  No weapons were actually seen and the suspects fled in a grey Nissan Rogue with paper plates. 

#032 Robbery
Dispatch received a call regarding a male down that was struck with a bottle.  Officers learned that the male was robbed of his cellphone.  The suspect described as a Hispanic male adult was last seen southbound on Maple. 

#003 Possession of Stolen Property
Officer Paiva conducted a vehicle stop on I880 near Mowry Ave. The vehicle was found to have a stolen license plate attached to the rear. Arrested was a 27 year old adult male who was also found to be in possession of a meth pipe.

#001 Possession of Narcotics
At 12:08 a.m., Officers Chahouati and Soper were dispatched on a suspicious vehicle call in the area of Sanderling Dr. The vehicle had been seen recently a few times by residents in the area.  Officers contacted a 37 year old adult male sitting in the vehicle with no particular reason to be in the area. He was discovered to have narcotics, along with a machete in plain-view within the vehicle. The male was also found to be in possession of binoculars in his automobile.   The male was booked into Fremont Jail on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, possession of narcotics and possession of a switchblade in a vehicle.  Investigated by Officer Chahouati

#012 Trespassing/Battery
At 12:12 p.m., Officer Vucurevich was dispatched to Target at the Hub regarding trespassing by a transient who has been acting more aggressively to staff.  On this date, the male threw water on a security guard when he was asked to leave.  Follow up is pending and Target is seeking criminal prosecution.

#9202 – At 3:01 p.m. - A female transient was reported as being inside Chipotle (Mowry) threatening everyone with a salsa bottle.  A second caller stated they didn’t see the female threatening anyone, but that she was yelling and running around in the restaurant.  Officers met with management, and stated they wanted to press charges for trespassing if she was located.  Officers searched the area, but did not find her.
                                                                                             
#9221 – 3:56 p.m. - A transient subject was punching walls and yelling at customers at the 7/11 located at Mission/Niles.  The male was contacted by Officers and moved along.
 
#9264 – 6:13 p.m. - An employee at the Lighthouse Bible Fellowship Church in the 300 block of Mowry Ave reported that a female transient had just broken a window at the church.  Officers responded, however the employee of the church did not wish to stay around for contact with officers.  Officers searched for the female to conduct a welfare check, but she was not located.
