Police Explorers is a career-oriented program that gives young adults the opportunity to explore a career in law enforcement by volunteering in a local law enforcement agency.

Examples of duties include:
• Attend monthly meetings and training (e.g. radio procedure)
• Assist with parking / crowd control at city-wide special events (e.g. Art and Wine Festival)
• Contribute to various Divisions within the Police Department
• Participate in alcohol / tobacco undercover operations
Qualifications:
• Ages 14-20
• Enrollment in high school or junior college
• Maintain at least a 2.0 grade point average
